Jesus and the Children

Children loved Jesus. And Jesus loved them.

He told his disciples, “Let the children come to me. Anyone who wants to enter the Kingdom of God must become like these little ones.”

Jesus Feeds Thousands

Jesus was teaching a big crowd on a hillside. It was late in the day, and the people were hungry.

Jesus said to his disciples, “See if anyone has some food to share.”

The disciples found one boy who had five loaves of bread and two small fish. But it didn’t look like enough to feed the huge crowd.

Jesus took the bread and fish. He thanked God for the food.
